IST has a number of scholarships available to students:
David RusenkoEntrepreneur-in-Residence Scholarship
If you are a junior or senior in the College of IST and have entrepreneurial experience or involvement, this scholarship can provide you the support of a faculty mentor, 6 credits*, and $10,000 per year.
David Rusenko Emerging Entrepreneur Scholarship
If you are a full-time freshman or sophomore enrolled in the College of IST with an interest in innovation and thinking outside of the box, this scholarship can provide you up to $5,000 per year.
Nick and Melinda Berardi Open-Source Scholarship
This scholarship is for any undergraduate student enrolled in the College of IST who enjoys open-source development. This scholarship can provide you with up to $5,000 per year.

- Dr. Gerry Santoro
- I am a retired Emeritus founding faculty member of Penn State University's College of Information Sciences and Technology. I am currently an adjunct faculty member of State College of Florida. I have almost 50 years of experience in IT design, programming and management. Many of the classes I have developed and taught deal with Cybersecurity or Risk Analysis. From 2012 to 2017 I was Program Coordinator of the SRA undergraduate degree. My specialties include computer forensics, security and risk management, risk assessment and risk mitigation.
